-- Tools Programmer -- Requirements:* 3y+ experience with C/C++.* Experience with GUI programming. * Worked in a team of several programmers. * Strong time management skills with a proven ability to focus on priorities and solve problems. Must be able to accurately assess time requirements and complexity of assigned systems. Must be able to design systems thoroughly and break into manageable tasks. * Good knowledge of 3D mathematics. * Strong interpersonal skills, in particular in gathering and analysing software requirements from multiple clients. Pluses:* Experience in the game industry.* Experience using DCC applications (XSI/Maya/Photoshop/...). * Knowledge of scripting languages (Lua/Python/VBScript/...). * Understanding of image processing techniques. * Knowledge of character skinning algorithms.
-- 3D Character Animator -- Requirements:o Should have either a degree or at least 2 years professional production experience in lieu of.o Demonstrated History of: o Actively supporting Art Direction. o Remaining faithful to projects' Art Direction. o All Character Animation Candidates must have a portfolio and reel that demonstrates: o A strong artistic background, with numerous examples of life drawing. o Layout and/or character design. o The portfolio should focus on the human form and its movement. o Strong understanding of classic animation principles and fundamentals (i.e.; Squash and Stretch, Staging, timing and Motion, anticipation, exaggeration, follow through, arcs and appeal). o An intrinsic ability for storytelling. o Acting and cinematography skills are an asset. o Sculpture skills are an asset. * If coming from outside the game industry, new hires will be expected to learn/understand how game-play and real time issues can affect Character Animators; they will be expected to develop techniques to compensate for such limitations Understanding:o A very strong understanding of:
